Wrong again, JT. JimC has the expertise to validate (or
invalidate) what I will say. His predictions are his opinions, and may be right or not, but I hold his
knowledge in financial matters in high esteem, few with
his level of expertise would share such with us, and put up with the abuse he gets.
At any rate, my understandng is that, in areas where
NDAs(non-disclosure agreements) exist, that the requirement to disclose material events has lots of latitude. Instead of black and white, there are grey areas here.
Good Lord, I'm starting to sound like a flipping
lawyer, send me to Florida.... NOT
JimC, please comment here, your experience in these matters would be invaluable to me and others, regardless of what Mr. DWE(Down With e.Digital) has to say.
TIA, Dave

Jon: Please cite the law that requires all material information to be disclosed to the public.

Do you really really believe that the law forbids commercial secrets and nondisclosure agreements with respect to works in progress?

Do you realize that "inside information" is -- by definition -- material, nonpublic information.

Any light bulbs?
