Sooo... Following the 29-32 Dow chart, if history repeated itself (it won't), Nasdaq would bottom at 550.

Note that the Dow doubled between 1932 and 1933. Assuming a three year correction period, can you hang on that long? Scary thought is that things might repeat the history of the Nissei. It's NEVER recovered.

Actually, I doubt that. Americans are more adventuresome. The reason that Japan is still in a pickle is they never fixed the structural problems to allow freer markets. A whole lot of entrenched subsidies over there (message for Canada?).
