George, money is still "hiding" out in some of the big cap Dow stocks like GE. When they give up the ghost we will be near the end. Dow 8000? My bet is that the Naz bottoms first and the ad line starts to improve while the big cappers collapse. We ain't there yet though, not by a long shot.

OK here's Bull's favorite bottom indicator list:

> Bullish diversion in the ad line.
> Mutual fund cash levels at 9% or above.
> Individual investor sentiment in the high 20's.
> Put/Call ratios over 2.
> VIX over 40 - preferably 50.
> Fed starting to lower rates.
> Insiders loading up in a big way.
> Commercials net long the Spooz.

I'm sure there are more. Anybody got any other faves to add to the list?

Oh BTW anyone want to argue this is not a bear market?
