rosa- pretty nice. i didn't sleep in the boat (too cold - kath and i sat in front of a nice fire instead) but i did get to mess with it and highway sailed it down to my sister's place today because i had to move it from where i park it. just messing with it was enough to lift my spirits. i went by a friend's house and talked about boats for awhile. he and i are discussing getting something in the mid 30 ft. range to keep at san carlos down on the sea of cortez. then i stopped by the halfway house and got to visit with kidd for a few minutes. he sure looks good. i found out recently that he had a son while he was away. saw some photos and he is darling - looks just like kidd when he was 2 1/2. yes, i sort of miss the young ones and sure do want to make contact and have this little boy be a part of our lives. he lives here in abq. speaks spanish & english. his mother is a probation officer, probably would make a good esposa for kidd. <VBG> (esposa means spouse in spanish and esposas means handcuffs - that cracks me up) you gottne grandkids? -el abuelo
