TG, I checked Maricopa County

But don't see any larger settlements.

There aren't any alerts per this page
phoenix.bbb.org
other than the one you provided which
is part of the same settlement as all the
other states

phoenix.bbb.org

"...Without admitting wrongdoing, all four companies
will make the refunds under separate agreements
with Arizona, Florida, 15 other states and the
District of Columbia...."

"...Those who purchased travel packages and already
took their trips can receive refunds of up to $200
if they file a complaint within 30 days...."

Do you have another link for settlements
in Maricopa County?

Again, not to pooh pooh this but if the case was so strong
would the settlement be so lenient w/o penalties?

Again if you have another link for more severe settlements
please provide it for Maricopa County in Arizona.

If the case was so strong, would there also not be a cease
and desist order prohibiting further business like with
many of the other companies in the list you provided?

As with Bruss at the age of 31, complaints were made
but not proven.

Settlements are made all the time
after both the prosecuter and the defendent
feel that the cost of litigation doesn't warrant
continued prosecution/defense.

Prosecutors don't "settle" for slapped hands when
their cases are strong . Being accused isn't
the same as being found guilty.Settling doesn't equal guilt.
Settlig is usually a convenience.

In an ideal world, every one's record would be lily white.
but as I cited, even very successful people and companies
have complaints filed against them.

Not a good thing to have any complaints, especially
for small companies trying to gain credibility but
still any and every complaint should be put in the proper
perspective and not sensationalized.

I'd rather see an objective analysis than
sensationalism on either side.

Yes such complaints against Vogel and Bruss
are cautionary signs to make sure people know who they're
dealing with, and to take any and "all" hype w.
the appropriate skepticism.

Though someone like Bruss at the age of 31 hopefully
has learned from what's he done, so he's wiser by his
current age of 33. The cost of defending oneself is
a pretty strong deterrrent to not make further
mistakes than one could be charged for.

I've sure learned a lot from being involved in this
investment, including a lot of lessons I'd rather not have learned. But like you said there are thousands of
other stocks out there in which to get stuck and
unlike you, I've never felt the need to be anyone's savior.

Thus for me the bottomline still remains the b-model,
which contrary to what you're "dd" presumes is not
just the charity based volunteer selling of cards.
Actually the charity baed part is only a very small part.

Time will still tell whether the card gathering means
of gathering marketing info for corporations will
translate into profits with product sales and data
management for TIGI.

Past allegations, at this time, for me simply aren't
that relevant especially when I haven't heard the
accused side of the story. Thus message board justice
just doesn't satisfy me and only constitutes
another kangero court of opinions.

Again, though thanks for the info. However,
still don't need a savior.
