He still doesn't get it IMHO at all!

Monday prediction - Open up finish down - way way down.
I reserve the right to change this opinion if there is serious election news (Gore surrenders or bad news for Gore from Florida)

Zero is the perfect number.
Sell that damn CSCO before its is too late at 1 3/8.

Greg,

I'd agree, I don't like his 20-month moving average criteria. Heck, why not a 20-year moving average?

Still, the strength of the analysis lies in the assessment of investor sentiment, and the implications of this. In that regard, he's spot on. He's no prophet, but that kind of analysis is useful just the same going forward, and I haven't found many who have as good a handle on this sort of thing.

Greg, below is my reply to someone on the FOOL that said the bubble has burst. Thought it was appropriate for this thread. P.S. They call me "M" on the FOOL board even though my ID is the same as it is here. I have a patent on "M". "G" is still available so I suggest you reserve it soon. LOL - Tinkershaw uses the almighty "$" as his ID.

<<The bubble has burst, but it was an awfully large bubble.>>

Actually some bubbles have burst, but there were an enormous # of them. Some are also filled with water and are doing a slow leak (CSCO). It will take a while for all that water to empty. Will not happen till next year, with an intervening sucker rally in January to trap people back in.

When CSCO is at 25 the end may be near. It has been in a slow leak since 70, but still needs to fall in half.
INTC is leaking water badly. It has many holes in its water balloon.

Panic selling of CSCO, MSFT, EMC, IBM, INTC etc is the ultimate sign. Out of this mess new leaders will emerge. The old gorillas are doing a slow death. The new leaders might be companies like AVNX, RMBS, CREE, PWER, possibly some superconductor company, and others we probably do not know about yet. IF RMBS passes me buy, there will be other great bargains.
