"Where are all the demolibs who were bragging about how the Dems had the better legal team"

You mean the demos are loosing even thought they have better lawyers? I wonder if that might be because their case is WEAK.

>>>Context indeed. The decision to go into special session on Wed. was made AFTER the butterfly suit was dismissed.<<<

The moves to spur the Florida legislature into action has been in effect for at least a week and a half, well before resolution of the butterfly ballot dispute. Who do you think those folks are I've been watching on my television set this past week and a half.

If you go back to what I originally wrote, I stated the legislature is gearing up not to oppose a Gore win in a recount, but rather if some of the other issues before the court win out and Bush loses.

It'd be suicide for the Florida legislature to attempt to over ride a vote count, particularly one overseen by the court.

It was my contention that the legislature was setting the table so override if one of the other issues came into focus. I noted as examples the butterfly ballot, Seminole and Martin County issues before the court as ones which might prompt the legislature.

Yes, context. C-O-N-T-E-X-T I know it's not well GOPwinger understood. But try it some time!
