I think he should have a high power gun if he feels he needs one. Might end up shooting some of his own party, but that is better than losing to violence.

It's a beauty. I'm checking the sights this weekend. I could have gone for an industrial design, but I decided on a classic lever action because if things go well, I will use this for years at the range and in the woods.

I learned my lesson with the Glock, that it wasn't half as much fun as a good revolver even if it was efficent. So I balance efficency, accuracy, and just plain fun.
