BCherry, Mssr. Gore may pull it off, but it's a gamble which requires many pieces to fall into place....

Re Democrats, I've been analyzing voting patterns across the US, looking for patterns in the e.g. Gorton/Cantwell Senate race in Washington.

Interesting juxtaposition is occurring- just temporary? Mssr. Gorton received heavy support from- blue collar workers! And Ms. Cantwell received support from many high tech highly educated elite- Democrats?!

I wonder if these races are voting pattern flukes- or reflective of changing patterns.....But in terms of conservative/moderate Democrats lying low, I do not believe that to be a fluke.

It is instead a hint of a healthy move away from the partisan politics of the last few years. Time to think what is best for America and not what is best for my particular party....

We have a good thing going here in America- Let's not blow it over political fol-du-rol...And besides I enjoy following Slider's market commentary, although I am still trying to figure out how to make money off of his investment philosophy and approach.....I am a little dense I guess..
