Hi Dave,

what does that have to do with amcc?

Telecom component companies sell to telecom equipment companies sell to telecom service providers sell to telecom customers. Customers aren't paying enough to sustain the ecology, up until September, the slack was being taken up by financiers. They have gotten cold feet about sending good money after bad. The telecom supertanker is slowing down. No supplier in the food chain can possibly hope to completely avoid this reality over the long run. Does that make sense to you? If not, I'm willing to give up attempts to explain that telecom is just a business and not some messianic revolutionary cultural change.

Best, Ray
