I agree. One does not have to reject faith in order to embrace science. If one has dogmatic beliefs based solely upon faith, science can pose considerable problems for people who want to literally interpret their dogma and assert that it is absolutely true despite the evidence to the contrary. If Mr. Land would just say "I really love this book and want to embrace it" I would not have a problem with that. The problem I have is that he says I'm wrong unless I believe what he believes.
