Well, I don't know about the staying power of CORV's alignment with SCMR, ever since the rest of the pack of big guys elected to pan ODSI. I suspect that religions are still in the process of being formed here, and some are just now in the process of re-assessing their chosen theological leanings. As for CSCO, it's notable that perhaps their most celebrated acquisition in the optical sector to date has been that of a SONET box maker, Cerent. Okay, I know, the Cerent's newly mandated feature profile calls for them to be able to do more than "straightforward" SONET in the near future. Call it enhanced SONET with some extra tricks thrown in. Notwithstanding, their following and control of the enterprise networking sector these days is so strong that it hardly makes a difference to them, or to most of their customers. Herd that one before?
