Challo,, isnt this commentary from last weeks report...

I seem to remember reading this same thing last week.. I know I read this report last week but don't remember the numbers..

In any case, Regardless of whether this is current or not, I would say that for the intermediate term, there is not much catalyst for more than an oversold DCB here.. Especially considering that this report recommends setting cover buys at the two week high point... This would mean that if these guidelines are commonly followed, there won't be any significant short covering on these one or two day bounces we have been seeing...and why should there be? we are in a vicious downtrend here..

the one thing that bothers me is that they say that you should be buying when everyone else is selling and selling when everyone else is buying.. If the commercials are the majority players here, then wouldn't he contrarian viewpoint be to bet against them?..

Also, I have been reading a lot of negative sentiment on these boards and tons of people shorting all rally's .. I don't really see the postitive sentiment around here that should be indicated by these high bullish indicators we keep hearing about.... It would seem to me that as the market gets worse and worse, More of the commercials will be needing to hedge their long positions against further losses.. Aren't these large commercial short positions mainly large hedges against further losses more than actual bets that the market keeps falling...?/

just some thoughts....
