PT,

We just had a report in my county in PA. that there were 2200 ballots with no presidential vote. That was 1 1/2% that didn't choose a presidential candidate.
We have no punch machines here. They are all the mechanical type. So that tells me there are lots of people who don't vote for president believe it or not. That percentage isn't all that much lower than some of the Fl counties.

Have to call it a night to rest up for the trial tomorrow. I'm becoming a court junkie.

Democratic precincts had a far greater chance of having their ballots rejected.

So there is some kind of conspiracy by republican state office holders to force democratic Florida counties to use antiquated voting systems? Hopefully the democratic counties will get their act together before the next election.

One simple solution would be for the Florida legislature to pass a law allowing only fully punched through ballots to be counted as votes. This could apply to hand counts as well as machine counts.
