Bishop--That of course doesn't answer the question.
But I really didn't expect one. The problem with the questions I asked is not the specific questions themselves but the fact they call into question the specific nature of the Deity you worship and His past actions.
As far as your response <<Unless you know why it was done in the first place>>. I don't really care why it was done in the first place. I am one of those people who just doesn't think genocide is ever justified. And I can only view children and babies as innocent victims when it occurs. I just can't get past the horror of putting a child unable to defend himself and possibly unable to even talk to the sword.
I realize this is one more brickette for me to stand on in Hell but there it is. And worse still for my soul I don't even want to change it, I just think it was wrong for God's people to slaughter those children. (That is leaving out some objections I have about the 'Beasts of the field too, I scored Neopagan on the religious test, followed by the Unitarian choice.)
