Nothing has been proven with regards to the machines, except that they do not efficiently catch voter error, as some of the scanners do. As for poor education and voter inexperience, that is a terrible shame, but it does not alter the fact that voter error is not a sufficient reason for a hand recount, especially if it involves conjecturing about voter intent. Let us improve schools, and let the NAACP encourage minority voting as a habit........
