IB is IB not sure what it stands for but here is the url to there website..

they are a quasi direct access broker.... it only cost .01 cent a share to trade stocks with a minimum of $1.00.. Yes, you can trade a 100 shares for only a buck...

options only cost $1.95 per option... so you can trade very small options positions for practically nothing.... $3.90 round trip...

interactivebrokers.com

ok...it stands for interactive brokers.. they have a demo trader tradestation that you can download and use for free that shows actual quotes... its really kewl...however, the demo is a bit misleading cause it will let you buy at the bid and sell at the ask instantaneously.. I racked up about twenty grand in ten minutes on a 50,000 dollar account doing this.... it was hilarious... but it does give you a real idea of their format... They have a new java based system out too as of the first of Dec... but it is rolling out alphabetically and I haven't gotten to see it yet..

I may wait a month or two to use the new format...I like the old one just fine..
