Like both you and James I too used to be fairly handy with the things but don't remember anymore (it's amazing what you forget after 20-25 yrs). And like happy girl I used both punch cards and paper tape. In fact while at the weather service we had tape storage that took up an entire room and held virtually nothing.

Seems like more people remember those days than I would have thought. Now if anyone starts telling me about the good old days of car cranks (which I learned to drive on BTW- dad was an antique buff)
