Republicans in New Mexico are singing the Democrats favorite song.

New Mexico's Republicans are seeking a hand recount of New Mexico election Ballots.

Their head lawyer Mickey Barnett told a court the following..

These ballots are not difficult to tabulate by hand, and in the case of simply reviewing the results of a single race, can generally be counted by hand more quickly than by machine. There is, of course , no other way to determine the accuracy of this apparent discrepancy or machine malfunction other than the board reviewing the votes by hand and comparing them with the results.

I understand his point of view. I might even buy him a beer. Well if all the Democrats on this thread chip in, we could buy him a box lunch and a bus ticket to Florida to testify for the cause. As I see it he should get there in plenty of time before closing Republican arguments, of about Jan.20th.

WE are not voting for mayor here.

I know! I want information! The way the case was handled with the Mayor might be an indication of what will happen with the way votes are handled in Miami/Dade County.

It was a legal issue with the Miami Mayor. I wondered if anyone had any information about the Mayor, the votes and the Mayor's removal from office.
