However, I am totally puzzled by the Republicans becoming so enamored with a candidate, GWB, who has led a life full of "youthful indiscretions" into his forties, has at least fudged the truth several times on events relating to such period (while whether Clinton did or did not inhale, for pete's sake, twenty-five years ago is considered important and must be explored)seems lacking in initiative, has had the good things in life literally handed to him (and don't try to tell me he built up his oil business or baseball franchise on his own!)and seems so weak, again IMHO, in providing leadership and direction to even his own supporters. Frankly, GWB at times seems like a less intelligent and less polished version of Bill, complete with weaknesses of charactor. Before I get bashed for all of this, let me say that I have still not forgiven Bush and his boys for what they did to John McCain in South Carolina. Anyone who has taken the time to really study the vile, nasty allegations made during that time by supposedly independent supporters of Bush (even so far as finding the need to "comment" on McCain's adopted Bangladesh daughter and to claim he was soft on Breast Cancer research - when the exact opposite is true)will also be concerned. Now, when in trouble old GWB didn't disown any of this stuff, he just acted aloof and unaware...but you can bet the Republican power brokers knew, and now they are back on the inside power team. Actually, I am tired of the whole stinking mess that is politics. Let's go back to discussing the whole stinking mess that is Rambus.
