Poet, My feeling is that the market will move depending upon how the Gore contest of the election is going.

I think if the news does not start favoring Gore, the market should rally significantly this week. The other important factor may be the Cisco analyst meeting.

When I start seeing JDSU as fairly cheap, given its growth rate---it is hard to see many agressive sellers in this one and many similiar stocks. Valuation seems to becoming an issue for a lot of the Nasdaq. Maybe the PC stocks will still be under a cloud (including MSFT and INTC) and that may stall things for bit.

Short interest in November in many of these high PE names continued to increase.

I am just hoping that it will be hard for the market to start the 4th month of declines this week but one never knows.
