Bill, I agree that we need federal standards on what constitutes a valid ballot. What turned me off about his post was the "federally mandated, federally funded" stress to his idea, that indicated, to me, that he wants something to be done but wants big brother to be totally in charge, and pay for it. I think a simple set of rules for a federal election is called for, but his concept went too far for my taste. Perhaps I read his intent wrongly, but I said what I said. IOW, that's my story, and I'm stickin to it. ~;=;o --haqi
