I actually wonder if counterparties to these forward deliveries will also take the fall. That would be a watershed event and cast a whole new light on the credit quality behind these transactions. Personally I'd like to see a central bank take a hit after a bullion dealer goes down on one of these "Centaur-like" situations. That may well be the spark that starts a stampede in POG.
