beautiful post, just printed it out; re tax loss selling, from OI neewsletter:

Another problem is simply the coming tax loss selling. With no rally many investors will choose to sell the current losers to offset the wins from the first quarter. The closer we get to year end the stronger the selling will be if we have no rally to fuel their hopes. Funds are now starting to stock pile cash for redemptions expected when investors start getting their statements showing disappointing losses and even tax bills. Many investors
will be pulling money out of the volatile stock market funds and moving into the safety of money markets and bond funds after suffering their biggest loss since becoming investors

clear to me: QCOM has best looking chart among all techs
the rest are struggling to find support
broken charts left right up down everywhere I look

meanwhile, QCOM had a breakout in last two weeks
now pulling back to support, as in moving avgs

I see a Head & Shoulders bullish pattern
also the neckline has positive bias tilt

moving avg support between 76 and 81
current resistance at 90
current support 80-84

a healthy Naz, and I would say target of 105
but Naz is nowhere near healthy

Read post 21695 by RR for inspirational message...he lives the way he writes too...RR may get knocked out of the saddle once in awhile but he gets up, dusts himself off and gets back in the game...I'll expand on his notes...If your spiritual life is in bad shape, all other aspects of your life ultimately will be unhappy also...

I hope everyone on the porch has a wonderful holiday season

Any bulls on here? MOO! Well, we got a catalyst today. Let's hope it holds tomorrow and is sustained thereafter. Need confirmation.

Some of my calls bought days ago have tripled and one of my SDLI calls has gone up 7 times. Staying with JDSU, SDLI, EXTR, CIEN, and BEAS.

I was out of town all day. Didn't get to watch the market all day. Missed the fun and didn't even know about all this green until I got home a few mins ago. WOW! What a nice picture. Lots of green.

I'm sure most everyone is in a better mood.

MOO!
