George, Re OSX: Verrry oversold stocks in here. HAL, SII, SDC, SLB. A rally up to 200 dma's is not nearly out of the question. At those levels I expect the sellers to return in earnest and your downside targets become more likely. A "Santa Rally" in the overall markets wouldn't surprise me either, based on very short term negative sentiment readings. My DOW 8000 number is based simply on a technical price projection of the H&S top apparently forming there. I say, the sooner the better - lets get it over with. All H&S Naz tops worked I don't see any particular reason for DOW immunity in this regard.
