One of my big mistakes this year was not following Don Hays when he turned bullish on long term bonds when the 30-year yield was around 6.5%. That said I have put about 15% of my assets into muni funds of late and am modestly ahead. While the easy money has been made in bonds, I can see the 30-year treasury yield dropping to perhaps 5.25% if the stock market has another steep drop like I expect.
