And based on one court case I found, and the language used in the statute, it's a loss for Gore. The present judge may not see it that way, but on appeal the votes will stand. The other cases, I see as interesting, but sort of meaningless in regard to changing of the outcome. The legislature holds the key now, and barring some VERY unusual statement from the Supreme Court, they will cast the electorates as the constitution requires. Of course, the press will go ape-shit at the thought of the legislature controlling the 'will of the people', but it's only because so many of them are ignorant of how the constitution is constructed. I believe Gore's team has been trying to delay the outcome and throw enough mud around in an effort to get the Florida election thrown out. Then the matter goes before the U.S. Legislative bodies. His hope is to turn public opinion toward the premise that "he won the popular vote" and get a few Senators to go along on the opposite side. It's a real stretch for the Gore team, but not entirely impossible. My prediction is, if Gore ends up winning this thing on appeal and media manipulation, there will be riots on the streets of America. We are headed for a real crisis because Al Gore is the first President to contest a certified election for President. He lost and just can't accept it. We've been lucky in the past 100 years to never have this happen before. Gore's me, me, me, me, character, and the presses willingness to go along with this shenanigans (probably for ratings), has added fuel to Gore's narcissistic personality. The nation be damned! It's all about me Albert Arnold Gore Jr! So screw your 401K America, screw the economy. I will win no matter what the cost to our nation!
