hi tc

my hat is off to you, man. you totally have your hands full, and i know that you are in there dealing. it's difficult to keep it all sorted out, i know. i just hope you catch a few breaks. you could probably use a few right now, huh?

for whatever reason, my netscape communicator4.76 just got super funky corrupted on me yesterday. i tried all of the usual repair tricks for netscape that have worked for me before. no luck. so i downloaded and installed a new copy right over top of what i had. i didn't back up any bookmarks or mail folders (but i have it all on another os anyway, so i wasn't exactly walking a high-wire), and just forged ahead.

it worked out nice. the corruption is gone. nothing was lost. it is, however, becoming increasingly difficult for me to delude myself into thinking that netscape is a better performing browser than ie. maybe it's because i sometimes have both open at once and they are vying for bragging rights, but ie5.0 sure is the superior performer for me. my last thread of attachment to netscape is their email client. i use messenger and really want nothing to do with the virus-laden outlook clients.

i hope the winme gig turned out okay

:)
