Went to the computer superstore to window shop and you wouldnt believe the crowds hovering in the PDA section of the store. What seemed most popular was the Palm and Handspring Visor displays yet I couldnt even get my hands on the Compaq Ipaq Pocket PC until 3 or 4 burly men in front of me had their turn but I enjoyed talking with them and the sales clerk about the machine......and it is very impressive indeed. Loved the colour screen and processor speed (206 mhz) and the expandable kits which are opitional. An actual web browser and Windows CE platform make my Palm look like a calculator. Now I just have to dtermine if I really need this or not considering I do have a laptop. I just love gadgets. The sales clerk says they sell out their new shipments in just hours and the display model wasnt for sale. The Handspring Visor platinum was cool too but cant compare to the new pocket pcs. Jane
