Jas McG, I avoid the police because I am not a criminal and they have no need to question or detain me. Unless it is for the occasional speeding ticket. When in conversation with the police, I am always polite, respectful and aware that they are armed and I am not. Also that they are human and sometimes make mistakes and might accidently blow my head off, if I am rude to them. Police in the USA kill about 500 civilians every year and that is not a pleasant statistic. especially since almost none of them are ever convicted of anything. 'jaggs
