How quickly you have forgotten Gore's brutal treatment of Bill Bradley.

And btw, for the record, the Republican party muckety-mucks resented McCain being involved as it forced Bush to spend campaign money he wanted to hold in reserve for dueling it out with Gore. (I voted for McCain, so I should know...)

Just keeping the record straight... This was a brutal race for both sides.
