Sorry CB, I don't buy that argument...is FL in another country???Manual recounts are not some alien creature in the rest of the country. My state (MD) had one for Governor about 6yrs ago...a state with 1/4 the vote count of FL had a Republican request and receive a manual recount on a vote margin of 5,000 votes. I guaranDAMNtee you that come the year of our Lord 2002 and should Jeb be trailing by 537 votes or even 5,370 votes, Jeb will demand and get a manual recount...I'd bet the ranch on it. But hey that's politics and what goes around will come around. He who watches over the gold, rules. TG

Have you heard about Justice Breyer's alleged comment in the Supreme Court hearing? Not if you read the mainstream media. Drudge reports it at drudgereport.com Is he accurate? Was this really said? Will it be edited out of the official tape when it is released? What an insanely stupid thing to say, if he really did say it! Of course Bush wouldn't trumpet it because they don't want to turn Breyer even further against them. But for the journalists who were there to bury it . . . anybody who thinks the media don't favor the Democrats has only to look at this comment. Of course, to the media it's a common remark because for most of them it's a "we" Gore effort too.
