Yes this is what the founding fathers intended by virtue of the fact that they considered Rhode Island one of the ORIGINAL sovereign states and accorded privilege to all members of that founding club. The United States of America has also allowed the jonny come lately states like California to join under these same rules and past granted privilege. The citizens of California joined the United States fully understanding the rules and the laws. Any citizen of California who wished to improve the weight of hie vote can move to Rhode Island. On the other hand the people of Rhode and most of the New England states are stupid by majority and they voted for Sore and Loserman so I don't think that much is to be gained. I don't see much point in arguing the relative stupidity of Rhode Island or California Voters

The other argument is that Individuals possessing greatness in every field, emerge from the body politic no matter where they are from. Any state USA. Each in their own way makes contributions which cannot possibly be weighed. Didn't Tyler Lowery the guy who invented dram production processes come from idaho? (far flung example)______________(Your favorite example here).

It really does not matter, under the American system, when people grow up free and imbued by Liberty, no matter where they are from, it's a certainty that some single lives will have a profound effect on the many, they will make world changing things happen. Thats good for America and of course all Americans.

It is the collective psychosis, possessed by the hegemonious minority rulers that has me troubled. These are not the countries best and brightest, they just think they are.

I would be in favor of letting the 5 biggest city states cede, before I'd be willing to give up the electoral college which is an equal protection arbiter and a deal breaker under the Constitution.

The united cities of America versus the United States of America, wow what an idea. Hillary can rule over NY city residents and have NO effect on me. What a relief.
