<<Got Gas>>

ho HO HO! Yes. I like the frijoles with my tequila!<G>

Seriously, NG holdings are about 50% of my long portfolio (along with Gold). Currently I hold AOG, MND, BR, ROYL and a ton of HGT (along KEG and a trivial amount of NSS). I consider these long term core holdings, as the same short-sightedness that brought us the bubble will bring us denial of the coming energy crisis. The Hubbert Peak is a reality, and we should see it within 8 years tops, so these will be very long term holdings. (I know you're familiar with this, but I'm posting a link for lurkers and other board regulars).

I would not at all be surprised to see a major natural gas shortage this winter (no surprise since the current admin has done everything possible up to and including the SPR release to discourage exploration and production). I sincerely hope no one freezes to death due to shortages this winter, but I am not optimistic...That may get the fire lit beneath nuclear (to mix a whole bunch of metaphors...) As one who lives close to a nuke plant (not in Springfield, but in Phoenix) and whose home is powered by same, I feel the dangers have been vastly overstated, to the soon-to-be recognized regret of Americans everywhere.
