I2, I'm starting a position in Pall (PLL) today. Nice history of increased dividends every year.

The business of filtration - they are diversified among industries - blood, microelectronics, etc. - should offer some protection (that's maybe)in a recessionary environment.

Several possible ways to win with this stock: possible bounce within the trading range that they seem to have been in for many years; increased investor interest in their blood filtration business leading to higher stock price; increasing dividends over next few years propping the stock.

On the other hand, negatives (imo) are: not such great earning prospects, p/e seems high to me (it looks like it's always been "high" by my standards), selling at high price/sales and high price/book for the ROE that they have.

FTU and it seems also T will be cutting their dividends. I'm therefore selling my positions in these two.

regards,
Paul.
