How about we disqualify both of these turkeys and put McCain in office???

Yeah... but then the Dems would have control over the Senate. And McCain is expected to stay in the Senate due to the 50-50 split there and forego a chance to be SecDef.

Besides, he's in a very powerful position there.

There have been cases where lead Democrats of Florida were quoted to say they were willing to go to jail. This indicates even "sworn to uphold the law" would mean nothing for some(perhaps on both sides).
