Nancy, 50B in cash and investments, 12B cash flow up about 40% year over year. That is the MSFT fundamentals. No debt.

Lot of corporations budgeted for December 2000 onwards in their excel spreadsheet for windows2000 upgrades. Just see the uptick in corporate spending starting Dec. Also see the shift to notebooks (mostly windows2000) & win2K servers, MSN. [Next year comes X-Box, Whistler, Office10)
