Hard to believe HGSI will be the future if profits in genomes are up to 5 years away. Doesn't fit into the "new" more sane valuation models. Of course, there will be a day when some sector(s) in the Market will get extremely hot and probably extremely overvalued again. But reason says that won't happen at least until much more confidence returns (in perhaps 3- 6 months?)

PS- After hearing the CEO of AMAT today who is cautious for the next couple quarters, I am licking my chops to buy some LEAPS on AMAT in the low 30's (for a 2 year target 100+). I may not do so until June-July or so, when many stock may be ready to finally rally on a more consistent basis. It could be choppy for quite sometime in most sectors as the economy slows. A rally to 4,000 still possible in the next couple months but doubt it will hold. The summer may be the time we can throw a dart and win long, assuming the Fed co-operates.

"UTHR (with its promise of FDA approval)" - this qualified the stock for The List - goldenlists.com (List of companies that have forward events and dates of the events mentioned in press releases or other reliable sources)

Always looking for more companies to add that have forward events other than earnings.

I apologize for leaving the link, but it helps to make things clearer

MYGN and HGSI indeed good as short term shorty shorts. UTHR some future, another reason not to take these stocks home at least not on the long side. Message 14936989
