Overnight equity index futures generally mean next to nothing (unless Lock-Limit in either direction).... You're probably right that the US Supreme court ruling will be bought or sold depending on whether Bush or Gore respectively win. That said, I think we have PLENTY of warnings this week to keep us warm and cozy. Keep an eye on the Natural Gas futures this week: quotewatch.com They'll be booming and it might be enough to keep pressure on the Fed (along with the weakening US ClownBuck) to NOT change their bias. At this point, no bias change would be a shocker of the highest order (and therefore probably impossible, but hope springs eternal)....<G>
