I've read all the filings. US Books/CDs/DVDs increased 33% year/year ($300MM to $400MM) last quarter. Hardly a decline.

Alomex stated that books and CDs sales were declining year over year. You added the newer category of DVDs in your comparison. Take that out and compare books and CDs year over year and they are declining. DVDs will decline next year over this year. They are getting close to that cycle. DVDS had a huge ramp-up from 1999-2000 due mostly to the amount of new owners of DVD players. People needed something to play on them. DVDs were added to the product category mix years later than books.

The filing show clearly that books and Cds are declining year over year. Amazon would prefer to compare books, Cds and DVDs to remove the appearance of the book and CD declines.

I reinterate and am not guessing Books and CDs have declined year over year.
