I can't stop you from thinking what you want to make of things

Collecting evidence is nothing more than that: collecting evidence.

Making a threat on the other hand, is illegal IN THE REAL WORLD

Suggesting that you better keep one eye open, tells me I better watch out. That is a threat

Clear and undeniable it does not matter what spin, editing or change you want to dress it.

Then... attempting to change it (in two different time frames, from one context to the other, only tells me the character of the person making both, the original threat AND the change in context --not to mention the re-write of a far lengthier post than the other changing the context of what was written in the first place.

Further proof is that both Poet and I picked up the threat.

So, don't think I am THAT stupid. I know perfectly well when I am being threatened.

Further...

Attempting to gain "high ground" with verbose claims of having being "insulted" etc etc etc.... after the initial threat has been issued, further tells me that this individual has serious problems. At the very least, Hypocrisy comes to mind. At worse, once the threat has been issued... it makes me very cautious and yes, I shall be collecting evidence. Regardless if you consider the statement "collecting evidence" means santa claus is coming tonight or whatever other meaning you want to give it.

One thing is to have this dangerous and rather threatening individual be the bullie against others who do not want to spend the time defending themselves. Another one is allowing him to make a threat and go scott free.

In addition, this guy has been harassing the entire thread with his pompous and offending verbage...

All of a sudden when someone gives him a spoon of his own medicine, turns around and cries foul and goes to the cover of BOB. What credibility you wish to give him is up to you.

However, I DO take threats seriously.

You bet I will be collecting evidence !

I agree on both counts. I didn't consider the statement to be threatening and it would take quite a stretch to make it so. Basically, ignoring everything before the comma in that sentence.

I thought it was pretty obvious that his statement was more about the uneasy sleep one has in the proverbial den of thieves.

No, I'm not calling anyone thieves.
