if it does occur, then it once again is indicative that market mentality is leading the event....if you analyze previous bear markets, they tend to begin a bottoming and basing in the most difficult of economic times.....historically the equity markets look forward beyond the contemporaneous good or bad economy....

key to this is the typical fed increase of money supply along with fed fund rate reduction....a change in bias at the december fed meeting may occur.....keep in mind, fed action takes about nine months to impact on the real world economy.....it's never immediate...
