DJD is a type of arthritis. The treatment is the same. Neproxin is one of the medications used for both. I always have a snack before taking it to avoid the immediate stomach problem but it does concern me. The hip may not get worse, but I don't think it is going to get better. Where do you have arthritis? I understand some better drugs for arthritis are coming out, but I haven't researched the topic well. Before my old PC collapsed I had several book marks on the topic. NW
