Stock funds lose, bonds gain

U.S. equity funds had outflows of approximately $4.7 billion during the three days ending Nov. 30, estimates Trim Tabs. Technology funds lost about $78 million. During that time, the S&P 500 index ($SPX: news, msgs) fell 2.5 percent and the Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ: news, msgs) dropped 9.8 percent. Of the funds tracked, 54 had redemptions, 15 took in new money and 8 were flat. Bond and hybrid funds had inflows of $218 million.

As I said yesterday about the "bearishness of the media":
the amazing thing to me is it seems the financial press is now almost creating a parody version of "bearishness' so they can shout 'the bottom is in, the bottom is in, everyone's a bear!'
