The weekend report was late last week because I had cable modem problems.

The average sample Maxtor disk drive has dropped about $6 this quarter but the samples average $26 higher ($20 net) because there are more high capacity drives offered. I do not think the EOM drive prices have dropped much but their quantities may be down. The weakness in PC purchases could have a positive impact on retail sale quantities.

All in all IMHO things look good this quarter.
