My first choice would be to have a president not be anyone's stoolie.

Alas, that is not going to be an option for the next four years. We'll be very lucky if that option ever exists again, I fear.

The whole China-Clinton issue is pretty insignificant, though it seems to have been an effective political tool for Clinton's opponents, seeing as how it has affected your thinking.
