The press release doesnt provide much detail. Perhaps that is because it was a joint PR (it's not up on Q's site yet).

The companies have agreed to enter into a comparable agreement between TI and Spinco (the temporary name of the entity that QUALCOMM has announced will be spun off as a separate and independent entity) that will allow Spinco to supply integrated circuits for all wireless and wireline applications.

This makes it sound like Spinco and QClassic have BOTH entered into cross-licensing agreements. Why in the world would QClassic need TXN's patents? I also dont see why Q would need DSP and analog patents (this sounds like chip fabrication)....I wonder if this is just a fig leaf for TXN.

Hopefully, Qualcomm comes out with another press release later.
