vg,

they are, and they would correct no doubt. but they probably would rebound at a bigger degree than pc related software. all i am trying to say is one wants to be in industries that are still growing fast rather than in area where the growth has moderated a lot.

we are talking if there is a prem on p/e. only when you are growing you get a prem. otherwise you get a market p/e, or worse.

in the Q&A session of CFSB presentation, MSFT certainly did not have much positive guidance to re-assure people. Q&A matter much more than formal presentation, i feel. I read the report on realmoney.com that was the day MSFT started to crack - losing 3 pt on that day.

this discussion on MSFT reminds me similar discussion on RFMD thread when RFMD first started to slide after NOK first warning. RFMD was in 50-60 range then. All RFMD bulls came out to attack any opinions that are different. similar situation happening here. same thing also happened on DELL thread when DELL still in 40's. i regret i got myself involved in this.

good luck to all MSFT holders, me included.
