I also think its a bit unfair to only blame Bush for stopping hand counts...Gore never filed a request for one either...and that may have been his fatal error...assuming florida law would have even let it get that far....again, Bush had no reason to request it...he won...I can cate-Gore-ically tell you Gore would not have requested one either, were the shoe on the other foot
