For the moment it seems as if the Street is re-pricing P/E's as of this moment in time, but it will soon return to it's usual method of pricing one year out...therefore opportunities abound for smart traders...

Fred, according to MSN Investor's Analyst Info, projected earnings for BRCM for year 2001 are $1.40/share, and the estimated year over year growth rate, for the next 5 years, is approx. 47%. At $111 stock price, this comes out to a 79 PE and a PEG of 1.69 -- which I feel is very reasonable, due to my estimation of a much higher earnings/share for 2001 and a much higher growth rate for the next 5 years than 47% -- again, all my opinion.

We shall see.
